Radiodiagnosis department was bifurcated in the year 1994 from Radiology & has been since progressing leaps and bounds.
The Department has witnessed significant progress in fields of infrastructure, academics and diagnostic facilities by the efforts of Dr. Lovely Kaushal who joined as HOD in 2013.
The Department of Radiodiagnosis and modern imaging is catering the needs of entire hospital with the help of cross sectional imaging, conventional and digital diagnostic radiology, mammography and whole body colour doppler , ultrasonography including high frequency Ultra-Sonography( musculoskeletal etc), USG guided procedures like pigtail insertion, aspiration, FNAC, Tru-cut biopsy, PTBD & percutaneous nephrostomy etc.
Beside this, special investigations such as barium studies, intravenous pyelography and hysterosapingography etc are being routinely performed in the department.
The department is also well equipped with mammography, 128 Slice CT machine & 1.5 tesla MRI machine, enabling various imaging. Recently department has been started interventional procedures like, Digital Subtraction Angiography, angioplasty, catheter directed thrombolysis etc.
