Department of Burn & Plastic Surgery was as Established as independent department in 2002 with capacity of 50 Beds including (ICU beds-06 , Septic-04, Male Burn ward-04, Female Burn ward-04 Female ward plastic-15, Male Plastic ward-10, Post Operative ward-05, Post Operative ICU-02 )our department routinely doing Burn Rehabilitation Surgeries, Surgeries for Congenital Deformity correction, Hand Surgeries, Craniofacial Surgeries, Microvascular Surgeries , Breast Reconstruction Surgery and Aesthetic Surgeries Like Hair Transplant scar revisions, gyncomastia, body contouring surgery, Rhinoplasty, Breast Augmentation & Reduction with an average of 600 cases per year . Department has also started Mch Plastic Surgery Course in 2019 with 01 seat per year.
Our department publish around 03 articles , Case Report in Index National & International Journals per year. Our department also involved in teaching activities of under graduate and surgery post graduate . We also regularly organize CME, Workshop & online webinars . We are giving state of the art Burn care facilities for acute burn patients with fully equipped 06 Burn beded ICU, dictated, OT for Burn patient Under the NPPMBI (a Project of Minister of Health and Family welfare of Central Government.) We also run weekly Special clinic for Scar, management, Breast Aesthetic Surgery and Congenital Malformation.
Our Department also participate with presentation in National Conference . Our department is also having various (at Present Six) research projects being done by Residents under the guidance of faculty members every year our post graduate resident is also doing thesis work an current topics. We also have skill lab for the practice of various surgical skills by the students.
